As professionals in the Theatre-Music-Hospitality industry, with life long experience in each profession,and now our children following into the industry, we set up MHIME, to consolidate all our passions in life, and offer the perfect natural way to find total relaxation, recharge and start a bright new chapter in life, all set in a remote farm in Central Italy. We all need to step back at some point in our professional careers and personal lives, to decompress, destress, regain health, energy and overall fitness levels. Our MHIME programme helps you to make positive feel good decisions about every aspect of your life.

OUR BACKGROUND.
​
By now, you will have discovered that we own and run an organic farmhouse in Le Marche, central Italy. Here, we make our own wine, olive oil, grow our own food and live a healthy happy life in nature. We decided in 2005, that the pressures of living and working in high stress environments were taking a huge tole on the quality of our lives, and this eventually led to burn out. From our first decision to make a change, we never looked back, continued moving forward, built up a concrete transition plan to move gradually away from 1 life and into another. It was not easy, but here we are today, from successful business people to successful farmers! We would love nothing more than to give our experience in theatre and music life back to you.
OUR FARMHOUSE-HOME.

We offer our home for Spring and Autumn visits during the months of February to May and from September to November. These are the most beautiful months of the year, as springs brings new life and Autumn brings a bountiful harvest. Our home is located in a rural setting within a nature reserve, offering perfect tranquility for those looking to slow down, step back, relax, refocus and start the process of re evaluation, restructuring, rebuilding and ultimately re entering a new life. Our home offers the perfect place to immerse in nature and let go. As we are a musical family with extensive hospitality experience, we are particularly keen to invite musicians who are struggling with their development. However, everybody is welcome to our home.
OUR PROMISE.

Our promise is simple, total relaxation, peace and quiet, in a beautifully restored farmhouse, which is fully equipped for all your needs. High speed internet access is provided to ensure all guests can continue working from home, while taking full advantage of living a balanced healthy life in the beautiful countryside of Le Marche Italy. We also have an extensive collection of musical instruments, drums, piano, guitars, amps etc. We are not life coaches or gurus. However, we do offer various tutorials with no guarantee of enlightenment at the end of your stay. We are all about promoting a balanced, healthy and happy life in a relaxed way and strengthening your new approach to your chosen career or new career path.
FARM ACTIVITIES DURING YOUR STAY WITH US.

While staying with us, we welcome all our guests to join in on any of the daily activities that are happening throughout the day. There is no schedule, no time keeping, and in many cases, no clocks or time, as here we use the sun and the moon to guide our day. Our daily activities range from:
working in the vineyard, the olive grove, apple orchard, veggie plots, cooking, baking, building, wine cellar, making olive oil and wine, jams and preserves, campfires, playing music etc etc.
We love a well earned glass of wine or a beer at the end of the day, as long as we have worked hard for it. There are no obligations to get involved, however, participation always adds to the fun and learning curve.

I joined up with Graham to create space in my life between deciding on a career as a teacher or to be a professional musician. 3 weeks with Graham, playing music, jamming, recording and learning about living off the land, was enough for me to prepare for the studio in Ireland and recording the album. We decided to get away from our lives, take a break from music and travel. We booked a stay at Grahams farmhouse. It really is peaceful and totally in nature.
