OUR BACKGROUND.
By now, you will have discovered that we own and run an organic farmhouse in Le Marche, central Italy. We also took a sabbatical in 2005 as the pressures of living and working in high stress city environments were taking a tole on the quality of our lives. This eventually led to burn out. From our first Sabbatical, we never looked back, continued moving forward, built up a contrete transition plan to move gradually away from 1 life and into another. Here we are today, from successful business people to successful farmers!
OUR SABBATICAL HOME.
We offer our home for Spring and Autumn sabbaticals during the months of February to May and from September to November. These are the most beautiful months of the year, as springs brings new life and Autumn brings a bountiful harvest. Our home is located in a rural setting, perfect for those looking to slow down, step back, relax, refocus and start the process of re evaluation, restructuring, rebuilding and ultimately re entering a new life. Our home offers the perfect place to immerse in nature and let go.
OUR PROMISE.
Our promise is simple, total relaxation, peace and quiet, in a beautifully restored farmhouse, which is fully equipped for all your needs. High speed internet access is provided to ensure all guests can continue working from home, while taking full advantage of living a balanced healthy life in the beautiful countryside of Le Marche Italy. We are not life coaches or gurus. We do not offer courses or tutorials and we do not guarantee enlightenment at the end of your stay us. We are about promoting a balanced, healthy and happy life.
FARM ACTIVITIES DURING YOUR STAY WITH US.
All our guests are free to join in on any of the daily activities that are happening thoughout the day. There is no schedule, no time keeping, and in many cases, no clocks or time, as here we use the sun and the moon to guide our day. Our activities range from:
working in the vineyard, the olive grove, truffle grove, veggie plots, cooking, baking, building, wine tastings and tours, making olive oil and wine, jams and preserves etc etc. We love a well earned glass of wine or a beer at the end of the day and from here, the converstion runs free. There are no obligations to get involved, however, participation adds to the fun and learning curve.
